The first premium knife I ever bought was the 3550 many years ago. It’s long gone but I have the new version.

RIP. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

RIP Mel Pardue. This is a great loss for the knife community.

RIP Mel Pardue. Thought to the family...
A friend first "that's a knife" was a Griptillian, seeing how it was built is what swayed my interest from fixed blades to fixed blades and pocket knives.
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I used to almost exclusively buy Benchmade knives and most of my small collection back then consisted of Mel Pardue designs.

RIP, and condolences to his family and friends.

I have several of the Mel Pardue-designed Benchmade knives: the 350, 720, and large and small Griptilians. I haven't bought any Benchmades in maybe 18 years, but his designs always left a big impression.
