Sad! I'll miss the pics! Hope you found something good with all the "knife capital" :)

For some it is about the hunt and not the kill. SG is strictly catch and release.

SG, I'm surprised you sold the one with the Spyder hole. I'm sure you will find new stuff you like instead though.

Re: Chris Reeve Knives
I was surprised to hear that too. That one with the Spydie hole mod was pretty sweet.

Re: Chris Reeve Knives
Just to help enable those who have not experienced CRK. I will say, members here did not lead me astray. I have thoroughly enjoyed this knife. It is currently battling my Caly 3.5 for my office EDC. Which means this knife is in my pocket most days throughout the week.
Love the clip. Has great retention, but at the same time goes in and out of the pocket easy. I like how they angle the clip. Allows the knife to really hug the side of the pocket.
The tolerances are so tight. I thought the blade was rubbing at first, but quickly realized the other side was also really close to the scales. Just a super tight fit. Works smoothly operates smoothly. Solid, solid knife.

Really is a great knife. Built like a tank, but super slim in the pocket. I also like that subtle touch of the clip position. Those naturally worn snail trails are looking nice already!

Re: Chris Reeve Knives
Looks great! I agree that the CRK clip is as close to perfection as they come, it creates a benchmark for others.
FWIW I like to polish the stop pin with a bit of Flitz (while disassembled) so it matches the rest of the hardware. Not sure why they don't at the factory?
Here is a pic from a while back, with the polished pin on the left, and factory on the right:

That polished pin looks pretty darn good!
On a side note, I just noticed Chris Reeves website promotes the Triangle Sharpmaker on their How To Sharpen section.

Yep, I saw that included on the paperwork they include in the box. Pretty nice plug for Spyderco there!

Re: Chris Reeve Knives
Well, I finally sent my Sebenza off to CRK this morning. I requested new washers, new body screws, and a gold thumb stud. Should arrive there Thursday, and I’ll report back with my service experience.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

I'm not smart, otherwise I would unsubscribe to this thread. I chose my PM2 over my Umnum long ago, and haven't looked back. Or have I?

Re: Chris Reeve Knives
I guess so, but still holding strong.
Re: Chris Reeve Knives
I understand, I was pretty much strictly Spyderco for two years...until I started hanging around the "Others" thread. Also a dangerous place, the bad side of the neighborhood haha.
