Nice Hans!! Are you going to take that one to 17dps as well? I've found 17dps on my Inkosi Insingo as well as the Large 31 I had for a while, to be a pretty great angle for those CRK's. I remember when I did that Large Inkosi, it was at like 22 on one side, and I just got lazy around 17 and found it to work out nicely haha.
Thank you Fellas!

Yes I agree, they perform well around 17dps, and the bevel is not too wide.

I plan to do the same for this Magnacut one as for the S45VN Plain Jane. It will give me the opportunity to test both steels on the same platform, same blade shape, same angle.

Those are some fine looking blade profiles, and nice knives overall.

I never bought a Chris Reeve folder. Have a fixed blade or two around here, and want a new fixie with the newer steels.

I like folder blades that are closer to 4" to 5" that is why I collect and EDC the Spyderco Native Chief. Maybe someday....

I wonder if Ken will bite on this one!! Sweet looking knife for sure, but that's a steep price.

I wish! I definitely looked it up and down. The only thing I like better is the Northwest Knives exclusives.

We’re getting married in a few months and then I think it’s time for a new bike. No other big purchases until next year, I think.

Anyone have a Sebenza 31 with grey micarta inlays? I’d like to see some pictures please, thinking about buying one shortly. Thanks!

See my recent posts. Technically these are black micarta inlays.

Alright friends, I need a little support and encouragement please. I seem to have lost my PJ smaller Sebenza. I know, these are the easiest to replace but it's still $400... So I was exploring my gfs land yesterday in Big Island, a couple acres of rainforest. Lots of clearing needs to be done. I think one of the branches snagged the Sebenza out of my back pocket. I'm about to head back there and do a quick search before work, but I'm definitely nervous about it being gone. Thanks for listening, most people have no idea what this particular situation feels like. Worse case scenario I'll buy a metal detector.

One of the many reasons why I stopped clipping knives to my pockets. I’m sorry for your distress and I hope you find it!

Best of luck, that's a tough pill to swallow. Hopefully easily found in the general area you're planning on looking.

Don’t give up hope yet BW, it can be found still.

In the meantime, if you do want a replacement, DLT just got a big order in.

That's brutal to lose a Sebenza!

Today I was looking for my S110V Military that went AWOL. After looking unsuccessfully in all the normal places, I'm drawing a complete blank as where to look next... :worried

How long have you had it Bdubs? I hope you find it soon!

Thanks everyone for chiming in. My dad didn't seem too bothered by the situation so I felt the need to come here where y'all understand the panic.
I retraced my steps in the rain and used my Tops machete to clear the way through all the dead vines and Himalayan raspberry thorn bush. All the while trying not to trip and fall on the lava rock. Made it to the particular area where I had to crawl to get through a very thick section of vines, and there it was on the ground, soaking wet. Much relief washed over me. I know some of our friends here have lost some good folders over the years, like the one time one of our members hid a knife outside a concert venue and it was gone when he returned after the show. And that other time I think someone got it confiscated when they visited the Statue of Liberty. And each time these stories were shared the folks here knew how crappy it felt and offered their empathy. This is such a nice and cool forum.
