Good on ya, Manix. I had to google on Jim Shore, but already know about the Wizard of Oz. And she goes to Ozzfest, too? That's quite a girl you got there.

Keep on collecting! It passes the time, and gives your mind something to think about other than COVID.

Manixguy, I like the glass cases. My knives would look good in something like that. I don't think you have cats either, hahahahahaha.... :smlling-eyes

Where did you obtain the case for storing the Christmas related figurines? It's fantastic!

Hi buddy! Wife ordered case from a company called Barr . It took several weeks to get it and had to inspect each box when it was delivered by FEDX. The case on Oz room was free just had to pick up . We repainted it and has storage in back on bottom . We do have a cat but he has more interest in sleeping and eating, thank goodness . The shipping is not cheap. Definitely need two people to assemble . Kidding aside she is my treasure before anything . MG2

Thank you for the detailed response. The base storage will be good for the display item boxes so they don't wander off.

I think that I just have to have a display case like that. For 2022 I'm going to get one. Then everyone gets to see what all the excitement is about. Knives can definitely be objects of art. My brother would flip if he saw them on display in a classy case.

The old Oz case has he storage underneath. The new one doesn’t. The new one shelves are tiered larger in middle and top is smaller. I like it but not enough room in house for another. You will have to think out where to put it to access from behind or you will have to lift glass at top .

That’s hilarious! I’m actually glad she has her hobbies , since she landscapes her down time through the winter drives her crazy . She likes to stay busy so it’s a release valve for her . The framed pictures in the Oz room are actually jigsaw puzzles she put together and then had them framed . She was gifted a custom puzzle board called Bits & Pieces which has 4 built in drawers for the puzzle pieces. One reason why I post knives using puzzle bits . MG2

You should take her to the MGM Casino in Vegas they have an exhibit for Wizard of Oz. Lot of original props from the movie.
