Congrats! I love the care I get at the VA here in Shenandoah Valley, VA!
Thank you, I hope to fill the big shoes I have been given.

Thank you mreagan for giving your time and talents to the US armed forces. Thank you for affirming the VA culture is not an isolated phenomenon.

I will agree with you 100% serving people never gets old. It is also an art, there is a personal language of the art, and also a grace, but most importantly it is something that always grows and is never complete.

I was in Italy once as a young man and I was very impressed by the waiters there (they were very kind and though there was a language barrier, I could see they went out of there way to insure I had a good meal. There is an ethic in Italy that a waiter is the highest profession of service. The waiters goal and aim is to be the chief server, they model themselves after Christ.

The best nurse I ever met, Tom, he exemplified the Italian art of service. He is retired now, so these days I get to go fishing with him, and the fish serve us!

Thank you Bloke! The honor of working as a nurse is all mine. It’s really easy to wake up and tie my shoes when I get to help doctors and other specialties seek to restore and better men and women's lives.

The crazy thing is they pay me to do it!
