This could be a huge trap game for UGA.
There's just something about playing the Gators.
They can upset ANYONE. However, I think Kirby will have UGA focused and take care of business.

True. It will be a huge game on a huge stage. Florida won last year. Can't wait.

The world's largest outdoor cocktail party is never a forgone conclusion. It's such a big rivalry game that it almost doesn't matter what the records of the teams are going into the game. Anything can happen--that's why they still have to play the games.

I'll never forget the time Appalachian State beat Michigan in The Big House.
Darn right that's why they play the games....
Michigan was ranked 5th in the Nation at the time.
But, to be totally fair, App had a helluva team that year. They won 3 straight D-2 National Championships during that time.

When Alabama and Auburn play, they play for blood. Body parts will be all over the field. There has been a few times Alabama was ranked high and Auburn was not, but Auburn won. In Alabama, it does not matter if you win the national championship as much as whether Alabama beats Auburn, of vice verse if you are an Auburn fan. This rivalry is so fierce there have been lawsuits over it, even as to where the game can be played.

#2 Bama got a serious scare, today. LSU came out for blood. Bama's defense still needs work. If they play UGA they might get whupped because of the defense.

Florida is definitely in a downward spiral at this point. And there is still a lot of confusion in the CFP rankings. It'll be interesting to see how this ends up. Its starting to look like we might see another Georgia-Alabama match up in the SEC game.

My Sooners(9-0) got a couple of injured starters back last week, had a bye yesterday, and get a couple more injured players back next week. It is time for the Caleb Williams show and some style points for this final stretch.

I find it baffling that Oklahoma is ranked so poorly. At this moment, I think they are the most underrated team in college football.

Yeah, I was a bit shocked when the first CFP poll came out and put them at 8. After I thought about it though, it really didn't change my mindset that if Oklahoma takes care of business and wins, they are a lock to be in the playoffs. Depending on what happens elsewhere in the country, over the next few weeks, they maybe could get in with one loss.

Except for Georgia, who has kind of separated itself from the rest, things are wide open.

I'm definitely not an Oklahoma fan, but realistically I think they aren't getting the recognition they deserve. I've been to exactly one Oklahoma game (the 2018 Rose Bowl) and I was certainly not pulling for the Sooners. ;)

They definitely should be. I can't see any rational human saying an undefeated Oklahoma doesn't deserve a spot in the playoffs.

I agree that OK is not ranked where they ought to be. I would have said the same thing about KY until this past Saturday when TN beat them. TN? KY has beaten far better teams this year and TN beats them? A team that couldn't fight its way out of a wet paper bag? That TN beat them?

There were some blowouts, but there were some surprises. I am surprised that Florida beat Samford, even though they were favored. Samford has a good offense.

I was surprised that Auburn lost. I guess they weren't hungry enough.

There was no surprise that Alabama won by a landslide.
