Carothers

#1

Post by murphjd25 »

Just thought I’d let everyone know who has been interested in getting a CPK. They began selling on their website. Right now they only have some of the new Kepharts available and the Behemother. The new Basic Field Knife(cheaper version of the FK2 with the same Delta 3V) is supposed to be finished and for sale through the website in 3 weeks.

Thanks for the heads up!

I'm really looking forward to being able to buy their knives without hitting the BF sales posts at the right time.

No problem Tom! Hope a lot more people can get some Carothers in hand, they really are phenomenal, from the best treat, handle geometry, down to the blade grind and edge geometry. High performance!

If they still had 3v Kepharts I would be all over it.

Crap Darby, I didn’t think to look if all that was left was AEB-L. I’m actually a huge fan of how they tweaked the HT for their AEB-L on the DEK1, no problems so far.

I’m still thinking about it! :-) I sure do love kepharts.

I have nothing against Aeb-l, I would just like to see what the delta 3v hype is all about. It is also only a $20 difference.

I replied on the other thread already, but I'll thank you here as well. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm looking forward to the other models showing up.

Same. So many positive reviews, you really want to try it yourself.

Wow that Kephart is soo tempting. I've always loved Kepharts and this Carothers version looks amazing. Generally though, I use fixed blades so rarely that I just can't justify the expense. My BK62 will have to be good enough for now..

You guys will really like the Delta 3V, I can honestly say it’s not just hyped. It is something special. :)

Carrying my DEK1 today in AEB-L.

I have the original Field Knife, and I love it. I really want to get my hands on a Dek1, but I haven't been able to get in on the BF sales. Hopefully their new web site improves my luck. :)

I’m waiting for the Basic Super Duty Field Knife(HDFK). And their folder, whenever that comes out..(next year?)

I’ve got a couple fixed blades being made in Magnacut right now from another maker..

Do you know if they'll put them up on their website at the same time? Or is the website just for leftovers after the BF sales?
