Unusual, and/or Paranormal Events
Re: Unusual, and/or Paranormal Events
A Goatman Encounter / It Came Through the Front Door
Encounters with 'Goatman' creatures have actually been reported in states far away from the east coast, such as Texas and California. Although obviously not as common as encounters with Bigfoot/Sasquatch, or with 'Dogman' creatures, 'Goatman' sightings are not unheard of. There are several lesser-known types of cryptids, such as ‘Mothman’, Pale Crawlers/‘Rakes’, Night Crawlers, ‘Not-Deer’, etc., of which 'Goatman' is only one. The names given to such creatures sound silly, even stupid; but to those who have actually encountered them, they weren't funny at all, but were terrifying.

How to Reprogram Your Mind and Get What You Want - Dr. Wayne Dyer
I could have posted this in the 'Words of Wisdom' thread, but I don't think anyone reads it. If this resonates with you, apply it. I know for a fact that the truth he's sharing here is true, and that it works. Have I arrived there 100% yet? I'm still a work in progress, but I'm getting there. But I've come a long, long way. In truth, anyone could potentially embody this teaching in a moment, if they can eliminate the ego. This teaching, which I learned from sources other than the late Dr. Dyer, is one of the big reasons I was able to overcome the depression I lived with for decades. It encompasses so much more than simply 'getting things.'

At the time it was just weird lights, then the story started coming together. USAF Jets chased, and got left in dust.
Think this was a UFO Sighting, or ET invading our space.
Then the lies, cover stories, started flowing, and most sheep believed.

Cannibal Island
Another vetted true story, narrated by Dark Waters (James Williams). DW has a good BS meter, and he has a vigorous vetting process before he presents stories. He actually meets with (or at least communicates directly with) the people whose stories he presents multiple times, over a period of time (sometimes weeks). So clearly, this one passed muster. Admittedly, this story does sound like fiction, BUT I have absolutely no doubts at all that there are extremely evil people (such as many old-money 'elites') in this world like the ones described in this story. Even if you choose to completely discount the possibility that it could be true, it's a riveting story, nonetheless.
*Note: This story contains some descriptions of violence that some might find disturbing.
The story begins @ 0:42.
For some reason (probably for dramatic pause), DW inserted a musical intermission from 10:19 to 11:09.

Re: Unusual, and/or Paranormal Events
Are Psychics Real?
First off, I DO believe there are people with greater psychic awareness than most, who are able to access more bits of information than the majority of people.
"Most people" will tell you that psychics are all fakes. Whether you are a believer or a skeptic, painting every psychic as a fake is childish. Also childish are those who say things like, "If so-and-so is really a psychic, why didn't they avoid the car accident they were in?" Or, "If they were psychic, why haven't they won by betting at the horse races? It's because there are no such things as psychics, that's why."
Such statements are not only childish, they are stupid, and show a complete ignorance of how psychic awareness works. A psychic doesn't just know everything that's going to happen, or everything about everyone and everything.
Like anything else, there are different levels of abilities among psychics, just like there's different levels of abilities among people who play basketball, or train in martial arts, or box, or who do public speaking, etc.
Some psychics have real abilities, but have let it go to their heads, and instead of being ethical and admitting when they didn't know something, gave out false information that emotionally scarred the recipients. The late Sylvia Brown was a perfect example of that type.
I've had a few experiences with individuals i knew who had greater psychic awareness than others, but didn't offer or charge for any services. And they volunteered information to me that was spot on, without any prompting (i.e., 'trigger questions') to gain any clues from me. Things I will not share, because they are personal.
My only experience actually paying for a session with a psychic was with a woman who went by the name of Shama. At the time (2011), she was local. She might still be; she may even be retired by now; I don't know. She was one of the top two psychics that were studied and tested out of a program that was scientifically studying psychic abilities at UCLA in the 1970s. I came with a couple of prepared questions, which she quietly read to herself; and instead of grilling me for more information, she went into a meditation for about 20 minutes. When she came out of her meditation and began to speak, some of the information she gave was a revelation.
The one thing I will share is that she saw me in a few of my past lives. One of these past lives was as a scientist who studied fossils of prehistoric animals...dinosaurs, as well as prehistoric mammals. And that in that lifetime I was extremely meticulous, and knew all the names of these prehistoric animals. This information had absolutely nothing to do with any of my prepared questions, and she had brought it up as an after-thought.
What she had no way of knowing is that by the age of 4, I had been so obsessed with dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals that I had already memorized the names of most of these animals by heart, and used to pester my mom to take me to the Natural History Museum every week, because of the dinosaur and prehistoric mammal displays. And to get me all the books on prehistoric animals from the store and the library. I would obsessively draw dinosaurs, and collected toys and models of dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals. By age 4, my goal was to become an archeologist (which clearly did not happen in this lifetime). These were obviously leftover echoes from that past lifetime, which again, Shama had had no way of knowing, because none of this was connected to any of my prepared questions.
Another thing about Shama was that her fee had been $100 for an hour session (actually, very inexpensive for a psychic reading, even back in 2011), which took place in a special part of her home. It ended up being a 2-hour session, which she was aware of, and she refused any more money than her base fee. She let me know that her readings have around an 85% accuracy rate, which is very high for a psychic.
Do I believe Shama is a real psychic? One hundred percent.
Do I believe there are frauds out there? You bet. I don't feel the need to have any more psychic readings; but if anyone else does or is curious, I would suggest doing your research beforehand. That was how I found Shama, who came highly regarded. I would avoid any of those Gypsy psychics/palm reader types. Or psychics who perform in front of large groups, who ask lots of trigger questions to hook people in. I know this sounds judgmental when I called others out for being judgmental, but there are scammers out there.

'You Won't Believe These Scary Videos From the Web'
*Video below*
Regarding the last clip, I mentioned earlier in this thread that I experienced poltergeist activity in the room I stayed at when I lived in Taiwan. Two solid stacks on a desk, one of newspapers and the other heavy news magazines, were slapped with two loud "whack!" sounds. The newspaper stack depressed downward in the center on impact, and the upper half of the magazine stack went flying/tumbling halfway across the room to the floor. As if the newspaper stack had been slapped straight down in the center, and the magazine stack had been slapped at an angle. I was sitting about 3 feet away. It didn't really scare me, though, because I'd experienced paranormal activity off and on since childhood. And possibly because it HADN'T scared me and I hadn't freaked out about it, the poltergeist activity only happened that one time. IMO, if you freak out over it like the guy who shot the video did; if the entity is negative, and/or of a parasitic nature, the activity will continue, and it's going to escalate. Because you're feeding it energy in the form of your intense fear.
Yes, poltergeist activity is a reality, but I don't consider it a type of "ghost" or entity, but more a type of paranormal activity BY some type of nonphysical entity.

Hey guys I just saw one of the "Survivorman" videos that I had never previously seen before concerning the alleged "Skunk Ape" in the Florida Everglades. Now Les Stroud was not on this video but I heard that he bankrolled and helped produce it. It is extremely well done and well organized and it's on Youtube. The witnesses on this video I found to be sincere for sure.
The line up of witnesses are very impressive. One guy "Stacy Brown" got some infrared footage from his camera at dark that I found to be quite interesting. Several experts said it was authentic footage and that it was not hoaxed. There have been so many credible witnesses of the Skunk Ape in the Everglades that I've gotten very interested in this subject.
Also there is a Sasquatch channel on Youtube that I really like their content>> the name of the channel is "Sasquatch Theory". I was really impressed at one in particular that they did on Missouri Sasquatch sightings close to the Current River. The deep Ozark Mountains in Missouri have had dozens of credible sightings over the years.
