I love cold weather, it makes me feel alive. Shivering just means you're buzzing with excitement lol
Bring the fam up here on a road trip and stay in Syracuse for a week this winter...you'll change your mind! ;) Though I can't disagree with it making you feel alive. That fresh, cold air really does wake you up in the morning!

Ha, so true. My comfort range is -20 degrees up to about 75. I hate summer. I would rather be ice fishing than sitting on a beach somewhere trying to stay cool. The cold definitely makes me feel alive.

It all what you are used to though. I don’t actually get cold very easily. Way too many years of ice fishing. I try to do a few winter backpacking trips each year. I have slept in a hammock at -35! When I lived in Colorado I slept in a snow cave in February at 11,000 feet.

When I do take vacations (rarely) I take them in the winter to cold weather states. I would love to live in the north east, that's my dream.

Honestly though, spring and fall are wonderful times of year up here. The smell in the air, comfortable temperatures. Spring is great because in the winter everything is dead and just has a "blah" feeling. New plants, warmer temperatures after hibernating all winter. Then fall also has a specific feel/smell in the air, and obviously beautiful changes to all the leaves.

Not many places you can live where over the course of the year you can experience temperatures in the negative degrees, and then on the opposite end of the spectrum, in the summer it can some times hit triple digits. It's a wild ride! :cheap-sunglasses

Just wanted to say watching Saquon and Danny Dimes get injured last week sucked. But they both seem to be better than expected? Saquon's ankle looked broken for sure but it's not right?

We don't do seasons here... 9 months of **** on earth and 3 months of mild temps
I think it's funny how the native Texans complain about the heat. It's not that bad. I always tell my girl I can take the heat a lot better than I can take frigid cold. I do sometimes miss winter but I don't miss freezing my butt off. One thing I especially don't miss is getting in my car after work and trying to drive down the road while your body is shivering so hard your vision is blurry and praying for your car to warm up enough so heat starts coming out the vents. It gets worse as you get older. One thing I do miss though is ice fishing haha
It hasn't been as hot here the last few years as it used to be. I think anything above 80 degrees is too hot personally. I love cold weather, it makes me feel alive. Shivering just means you're buzzing with excitement lol
Not sure but I don't think we're talking about the same kind of shivering haha

I did the looooong Chicago winters for 50 years. I'm fine with some cold weather. I love the snow and still miss it. I did a lot of outdoor activities in the winter my whole life but the cold wears on you after awhile. When you start getting below 10° it gets nasty and as you get older is gets even nastier. Sub-zero gets crazy. There's such a thing as seasonal depression and I definitely had it as the winters dragged on. My sister-in-law gets it really bad. Here in TX I don't get it at all because the winter season is easy.

EDIT: I just read some of the winter discussion since I started to post. I was all gun-ho about it too when I was younger like you all are. Things start to change quick as you get into your late 40's. That includes how you feel about the cold stuff. At least that's how it worked for me. Early winter was fine but about mid-January I was done and it dragged on through April. Not anymore haha
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!

A lot of my friends are Cowboys fans and it was nice that not a single one of them text me with anything bad to say about any of those injuries...I guess we're all starting to grow up haha.

Jones MAY be able to play this week, things are trending in the right direction. Saquon just has a sprain, believe it or not. He'll miss this game and possibly the next. Playing the Rams this week, I don't think it even matters if we had him in the lineup or not!

But for the season outlook, it's encouraging. I just feel so bad for him and CMC. Two incredible talents that just can't seem to stay healthy the past 2 years now.

Not sure why they are suddenly getting away from Fournette. He's been the bread and butter all game. Jones comes into the backfield the past few drives and nothing happens.

If the Steelers can't win against Geno Smith Sunday night then it's time to shut it all down and try and get a high draft pick

Well from one dynasty to another that is used to long stretches of losing... Good luck today Patriots... Cowboys have lost the last 6 matchups. They are hot right now but Bill is still the king. Should be a tough game.

The Cowboys look like they should have an easy win but I cannot accept the Pats starting a season 0-4 at home. They are gonna have to leave it all on the field today! Go Pats!!!

Yeah, I feel like Dallas has the firepower to handle the Pats rather well to be honest. Belichick or no Belichick.
Sure, Belichick knows Tom Brady better than anyone and can really plan for him. But, I think Dallas is different story. I would be really suprised if the Cowboys don't win by at least 10 points today.
