Knife storage and display options?

#1

Post by Josh Crutchley »

I've only just started a knife collection so I don't have anything for this purpose yet. I know lots of people just use Spyderpac's but does anyone have any unconventional methods of storage or display they would like to share?

This works for me. Hang it on the back of your closet door.

Depends on the size of your collection, and the available space, but I've been using curio cabinets for about 16 years now. Got all three of them at WalMart, neither type was a "stock" item and never saw them again. This small one was the first. In the beginning it held my entire collection but got outgrown quickly. Has just held Kiwis and Kopas for the past dozen years or so. This photo was taken a few months after I moved here in 2011, still looks pretty much the same today.

This photo is from when I first got these two, so probably about 15 years ago. They're a lot fuller now, but I'm still using them.
