Awesome car Nick!

Good luck painting and restoring your old Caprice!
Thanks, Ben. It's a nice clean southern car, 58,000 miles. Spent a year looking for it. The interior is perfect, 327/275, TH400, PS, PB, AC. Runs and drives great, everything works except the AC. I'm going to leave the body and interior alone and build a muscular drivetrain. So far, I've built the trans, added dual exhaust, new wheels and tires. I have a Gear Vendors overdrive and a rear end under my workbench. This winter, when my bank account fills back up, I'll build a 421 small block for it; shooting for 550 HP, with lots of torque down low.

I'm 64, so I intend this to be the last car I build. I will ride off into the sunset in it. ;)

Haha, looks like a nice, solid old car! You wouldn’t have to try too hard but you could probably get 10 or 12 more trunk monkeys in that behemoth trunk!

Needed some firewood for outdoor fire shenanigans this summer, so cut down four alders, hand split and stacked everything this weekend. Got close to a full cord, hopefully it’s enough.

I tore down an old dilapidated chicken coop and run... Pretty dumb idea since it's 86 degrees F and 65% humidity. Next weekend I'll probably be getting the ground ready to set up an above ground pool. Which is also a dumb idea since there is a chlorine tablet shortage. Lol FML

LOL I just spit out my Gatorade. The boy keeps asking me for a pool but that ain’t going to happen. He starts swim lessons in a couple weeks though so it’s only going to get worse.

So, a cold front blew through? Heat index of 105 today here and I power washed the fence and did some weeding. :)

Sounds like you had more fun, despite the humidity. I haven't had the opportunity to just wreck something for a long time.

Working on working out the new hatchet to start a fire. It passes the test with flying colors and is surprisingly still shaving arm hair sharp. Tickle me impressed.

Always doing something, this week it is finally putting AC in the house! Don’t mind my redneck foil tape, I’m in a hurry. Tomorrow night I just have to run the lineset, weld it up, run condensate drain line and little miscellaneous stuff that can wait until later. Should be online and running by Saturday morning. :)

Here you guys go, didn’t want to clutter the edc thread. All finished, even hung a new Edison light over the table to complete it.

Pool update: took the pool down and put up a bouncy house with a water slide. Heck of a lot easier to maintain!!! Way cheaper too! I could have bought so many knives instead lmao

Nice! I love mine too, buddy!
They make a helluva Hatchett.
Btw, I was perusing their site the other day, as I get emails every so often & they had some wicked cool one off models. I especially liked the Nordic/Thor Axe. But, it was $1,200!! & they sold it!
