Mr. Clean Magic Eraser sheets

#1

Post by Doc Dan »

Mr. Clean Magic eraser used to come in only a block like a sponge. Now it comes in sheets. I got some the other day and took the stones from my Sharpmaker, which were very dirty, and these sheets cleaned them in one or two good swipes. Just a bit of water was all that was needed. Good stuff and a good way to clean sharpening stones.

Sheets like a paper towel? I wonder if it's still made of melamine foam or some other material now.

How did they hold up against the rods? I love using the Magic Eraser on my G10 handle scales, chews up the sponge pretty good after a few cleanings though.

The blocks are awesome. I use them all the time to wipe dirty greasy handprints off ceiling tiles or walls or what not. Lol

Right on. When I first read about these "Magic Erasers," I was incredulous and totally opposed to paying the going rate. Then I started looking around, and found that I could get the no-name brand for cheap. I still have a giant box of these things sitting in a spare closet. There will probably still be plenty for my heirs after I tip over.

I love them too and have come to the conclusion that they are magic. They will soon take over the world and hopefully not zap you. :D

They might! Making them in sheets might be a nefarious plot!
