I like the looks of that one. Looked up that brand and they're a bit more than I'd like to spend on my next one

Looking for suggestions for my third watch. I have a Casio F-91W and the pro trek.

Looking for something slim and light like the F-91W, but with better water resistance, a bigger wrist band, brighter back light, option to mute the sounds and higher quality build.

What should I consider in the $100 or less range? Open to digital or analog.
I'm openly going to suggest another Casio; if they're uncomfortable on your wrist, the 56xx series are great and come in a wide variety of colours. Prices here in EU range from 50 to 80€ like new.
The 5610 is solar and uses multi-band technology so it's always on time and charged.
I tried one but it felt too uncomfortable on my wrist, so my go-to has been the 9300 but it might be too big for your requirements.

On the Casio band issue, best thing I ever did was buy strap adapters and use a NATO strap. It's a game changer for Casio watches. So much more comfortable.

I'll look into it. That strap looks more comfortable.

The pro trek is comfortable but a bit bulky for work, especially since I don't need a compass, barometer etc. there.

The F-91 came with a wrist band designed for smaller people. Its barely big enough for my wrist.

I'm just looking for something closer in size to the F-91 than the Pro Trek. Something thin. With a longer wrist band and a better waterproof rating. I didn't realize the F-91 was just splash proof but not meant to be submerged.

I have a strange attraction to Casio watches, I really don't like chunky watches but I love how they look just looking straight at them. If they were made much thinner I'd own so many G-Shocks. Coming from 5 years wearing a Hamilton field watch, even the 5610 feels like a brick on my wrist.

Eco-drive is nice. Here's the new High Accuracy Quartz (HAQ) from Citizen ( $14k for the white, around $7k and change for the other two ):

3 new Citizen Eco-Drive watches with the Caliber 0100: world’s most precise watch 3-20-19

This one is accurate to + / - once second per year (spy). Mine (previous post) is + / 1 5 spy.

These are the two that I wear currently: GX56BB-1 “The King” and GWG1000-1A3 “Mudmaster”

I have a very large wrist so these oversized watches look normal on me. I actually enjoy wearing the GX more than the GWG because it weighs less and is more comfortable on my wrist. I personally don’t use all the functions of the GWG but I do like that it self adjusted its time. At 1/5 the price of the GWG the GX is probably the best bang for your buck of all G-Shocks, when you can find them in stock.

The specs like charging via solar, has a compass, shows elevation, temps and waterproof is very useful when hiking. This actually also looks like a surviving kit.

still debating what to get.

I like the features and price of this, but would like something with a slightly slimmer face.

Well did some more research today and two currently top my list

https://www.citizenwatch.com/us/en/prod ... 4-81E.html

https://edifice.casio.com/watches/efr545sbpb-1b

Only issue is I can't find thickness measurements for them. My Pro Trek is 12.7mm, looking for under 10 with waterproof, time, date, and solar.
