Got an appointment for 2pm tomorrow
If surgery is needed it will be either next Tuesday or Friday.
I'll keep yall posted. This can happen to any of us as we get older
So, what did the doc tell you?
An MRI has been ordered. I'm really 🙏it won't require surgery. But, we'll see.
Thanx Doc.

Praying for you, too. For the best outcome, regardless of what happens.

I'll pray with you about that. It is worrisome to have to face these things, as I have had reason to know several times. It is scary even to think about surgery, putting yourself in other people's hands and thinking, "What is they make a mistake?" or "What if I don't heal properly, then what?" and a whole lot of other things.

They didn't read it while you were there? Well, I hope and pray it is not bad news. I am hoping it is something they can fix with physio.

I really wanna thank everyone for all the prayers and well wishes. There is power in prayer.
The MRI came back negative for any ligament or meniscus tears. In his opinion it was my kneecap and lack of cartilage. He gave me a prednisone shot and it already feels better.
I am just so very happy to dodge surgery.
Thanx again gang!! 😀

Congratulations on the good news.

Now, be cautious. Whatever caused this may reappear down the road.

Even though you got the good news, is it still too soon for this?

Well MAC to continue from where I left off in the last page I just got news I might have to go under the knife again myself due to some problems with this past shoulder surgery I had back last October. So don't feel like you're the only one that's been beat up lately :o I'll find out this coming Monday what the final decision is.
Now I did get to chat with an old pal of mine I used to run distance races with. He told me that he had a "meniscus" repair a couple of years back and he claims that his wasn't all that bad. I realize that his repair might be completely different than yours but it was encouraging to hear him speak positively about it.
I do hope you're consulting a "sports medicine" specialist>> because that's the type of ortho doctors I've used since the year 2000 and I do believe I've gotten better results using them.

I hope that both of us heal up in time for fishing season. I usually get the equipment out by mid March or the first of April.
