Really, there is nothing better than sitting in the sun, eating a hotdog, drinking a beer or coke, and watching a baseball game. I've seen some of the greats play and been to a lot of ball parks. It never, ever, gets old.
Absolutely!!
We played our senior tourney at Cardinal Park
I so enjoyed watching the Twins play in Blackberry Bottom in Elizabethton.
It's just pure greed Doc. No way in this world MLB is hard up lol...

I used to enjoy watching the Tri-Cities teams play. Lakeland, too. Sad.

I think the problem is that those in ownership, whether individual or corporate, never played the game or they have lost the love of the game.

The Braves have been putting a hurtin' on the Pirates (or as Bugs Bunny calls them, the Pie Rates).

Well gang, I was in the ATL last night for Joc Pederson's debut as a Brave.
Joc did not disappoint either. He homered in the in 4th.
Freddie Freeman homered as well.
But, the real stud was pitcher Max Fried! He pitched 7 shut out innings and was 3 for 3 batting!! Fried had a Double, 2 Singles and an RBI!!
It was a great night in Braves Country!
We went on to shut out the Devil Rays 9-0
I really like the new Truist Park. But, I also really liked Turner Field too. Overall, the new Truist Park and The Battery all around it are pretty amazing. Very, very, nice.

That's awesome Paul! Looks like a great venue! I've never been to an MLB park, but have heard many great things about a few of them. Bummer you didn't get the chance to see Acuna, though a pitcher going 3 at 3 at the plate has to be a pretty rare moment itself!

Thanx Rick :)
Bro, I really wanted to see Ronlad Acuna Jr play!
Just tragic that he tore his ACL
But, yeah man, Max Fried had the night of his life!
It was funny, Max had already singled off of Fleming in the 3rd inning & up to that point was the Braves only hit of the game thus far. Rick, Fleming is a very good pitcher, I thought for sure it was gonna be a pitchers dual. But, in the 4th, we scored 2 runs and what's funny is that in the 4th inning the Rays intentionally walked catcher Kevan Smith to be able to pitch to Max Fried. Hahaha, I looked at the Rays fan beside me and kinda shook my head ( they were cool & a lot came from Tampa to watch - it was a packed house!) At any rate, Fried then doubled thus scoring a run making it 3-0, then we broke it open scoring 3 more runs.
Then 3 more runs thru the 7th and it was over bro.
Great, great, night.
Rick, I cannot recommend enough seeing an MLB game man. They are a lot of fun.

You really should make it a priority to go. There is nothing like sitting in the sun watching a game. Then, going to a night game, which is magic all its own. No other sport is as great as baseball to be there in the big park, live.

I've been to the Atlanta-Fulton, Kauffman, the Astrodome, Three Rivers, and Fenway Park. I have also been to numerous minor league parks.

Oh man, the best value in the sporting WORLD imo, is Minor League Baseball.
Especially Triple A. There's not a helluva a lot of difference. At that level you have so many former Major Leaguers playing too.
But, I love Class A and Rookie Ball. A lot of the players in Rookie League live with families around town.
It's just really neat. ( Elizabethton Twins or used to be 😭 )
