Thank you guys! It has been a great day this far, flowers cake and prezzies at work and a plane ticket to New Zealand from fiancé, trip to take place post Covid of course.

Well, not exactly. It was my mother’s maiden name so half of my family are Motts. In that sense I consider myself a Mott. The Mott side of my family come from Canada and descend from French fur trappers. Do you have any Canadian family?

I do. Believe it or not :) I attended a family meet in Denmark in the 00's There was a family member who served as "mountie" i saw pics of him in uniform.
