Sad to hear one of my hero's has passed away. Dodger legend if there ever was one.

I see very few games every year and even I knew Tommy Lasorda. He was a giant in the MLB.

Even though I gave up on the Sport of Baseball long ago I still have great memories of the valiant teams from that era. The Big Red Machine ( Cincinnati Reds) along with the L. A. Dodgers >> those were two teams that really played with a lot of heart. That was back when Baseball was played with a lot of passion>> not the billionaire cry-baby crap that we have now.

Two of my favorite Managers were Sparky Anderson of the Reds and Tommy LaSorda of the Dodgers. Both of those guys were a class act. You could probably throw Billy Martin & Whitey Herzog of the American League into that mix as well.

My condolences to the LaSorda Family and all those involved.

He had said he wanted to see the Dodgers win one more World Series before he had to go "see the big Dodger in the sky" and I'm so glad he got his wish. R.I.P. Tommy!

Growing up, when I heard Dodgers, this is the man I always thought of. 93 years old is a great run!

He was a huge part of Baseball. Now he's playing on the field of dreams.

I am truly sorry to hear about this. Tommy was the last of the great ones. I used to work in a bakery in his hometown, and he was a hero there.
