Doc Dan, I completely empathize!
With Omega's discontinuation of the 1861 Hesalite Moonwatch i figured it was now or never! Fortunately I have a great relationship with an Omega AD back East who gave me a heck of a deal and it's definitely authentic.
Still stung though; most ever spent on a watch!
I think I'm done with big watch purchases. Pretty happy with my collection and have and will continue to downsize now that I have acquired my core pieces.
Cheers!

I've never been much of a watch wearer, but my better half got me an Apple Watch for Christmas. It's been nice to leave the phone at home for our morning runs.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Autavia

It comes in bronze, green, black, green, and blue. The dial has a sort of sunburst design.

I'm certainly not as enthusiastic about buying them as you folks but I love my Hamilton. I was a diehard G-Shock guy before I got this one, now I can't go back to the thick/chunky watches and I can't live without a Nato strap.

2008 vintage Citizen Skyhawk AT that I wore almost everyday until last year along with my new Citizen. It's a Citizen Promaster Tough that my Wife bought me for Christmas. It has eco-drive, sapphire crystal, two piece case design and screw down crown. It has become my favorite watch really quickly. The Wife is now trying to get me an Apple watch in stainless steel but I am not sold on that but we will see.

My daily beater for a little over a year. The sapphire crystal is worth it because I run into all kinds of stuff and it hasn't broken or scratched yet. I didn't notice til I took the pic but apparently I hit it against something because that white line at the bottom is some paint or something stuck in there.

ABC crowd? Is that referring to the sensors in the watch?

https://outlet.casio.com/prg330-1/ - that's the one I got. Seemed like a good value as it has the same features of the $200-300 watches I was looking at and I got it direct from the manufacturer which is good in case any issues pop up.

Still getting used to wearing one. I think the last watch I owned then lost was when I was 10.
