Re: What watch you're wearing?
A while back, I had told my son about the Rolex GMT favored by Tom Selleck
and my Invicta "homage" Pepsi watch. Yesterday, he sprang this on me with his Apple watch.
A true GMT watch with 24 hour Pepsi bezel, a fourth hand and a sweep second hand.
These darn kids.

Re: What watch you're wearing?
i really like those. i'm a big fan of the "b" style face. if they made clocks like that, it would be so much faster to teach my kids to read them.Cycletroll wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 11:23 am

Re: What watch you're wearing?
I'm thinking about raising my budget and looking for a tritium field watch like the ones MWC make. Seems like the smart move in the long run.
Re: What watch you're wearing?
Well I think I found a good one for me.
Black case, not super tacticoool looking, no 24 hour markings, date window, sapphire crystal, 1000' water resist, Ronda 715li movement and tritium tubes.
I'm a bit excited. Unfortunately it's coming from overseas, so it'll be a while before I can wear it.

This sale looks like a good deal if anyone's interested in tacticoool tritium.

Re: What watch you're wearing?
thanks! I'm really happy with it!
Wearing one of my older ones today since I wanted to test out some new 22mm straps that came in the mail.
This and a black one I picked up use incremental adjustments instead of pre-made holes so I get a perfect fit.
First Seiko should be here this weekend.
I have a feeling either it or the MWC will become my go to, the Szanto will be my work watch, and my Suunto Core for hiking, cycling etc. Plan to sell off some of the others I picked up along the way.

Re: What watch you're wearing?
I hear those Suuntos are really nice. Last week I was at a chainsaw refresher course that ended up being a search and rescue for a Suunto GPS watch. The week before our instructor was climbing and limbing a tree and at some point he lost his watch. We spent half the day in 100-degree heat with hoards of mosquitos draining us as we limbed and bucked fallen trees so that we could move everything and look for the watch. Just when we were about to give up and move to a less mosquito-invested location the watch was found. The buckle was broken but that is an easy fix. All ended well and everyone was recertified for chainsaw use. :D

Re: What watch you're wearing?
This one was love at first sight for me. I could be happy with just this and my Suunto Core.
