Been browsing higher end field watches. Trying to find one that's black and green to match my M4 Chief, but a steel or Ti case instead of plastic like this Timex.

Leaning towards this Citizen:

Looks nice but all the watches I found under that brand on ebay were $1k+. I'm looking at the $50-150 range, which limits me to about $200 MSRP

That Damasko is amazing. It is a brand I've always wanted to try, but yes, they are expensive.

Casio, solar, day/date window, 100M water resistant, 12/24 hour numbers, around $88...

saying/showing that, I've been rockin' a casio F-105 for quite a while now & like that Timex you're sportin', so...

I saw those and do like them, but I feel like too much of my collection is Casio at this point :p

I managed to find that Citizen on sale for under $100 shipped, and snagged a Szanto field watch for even less. Both will be here soon.

Kind of regretted buying this at first because I only realized they make an all black version until after I purchased this one. Just not into shiny silver or gold on any of my EDC gear, including something as petty as a flashlight pocket clip.

But I've been wearing it a bit the past couple of days and it's been growing on me. Very slim compared to my resin watches, and much more adult looking.

nice watch. they shouldn't all be black. :) actually, the only reason i never went for this one is because i'm trying to keep all of my watches compatible with the same nato straps and this one has a little bit smaller lug width, if i remember correctly.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Yep, I'm exploring field watches now. Got my Suunto for an adventure watch, the GA2100 g-shocks for work, kayaking etc., and now I'm figuring out the best field watches for my off days.
