Well after 5 years I've fallen back into the G-Shock fold. I got a new GMW-5610 today. I was always a fan of the traditional square models and this one has a lot of features for the price and it's on the thinner/less chunky side.

Not a watch collector. I switch off between a leather band Citizen and a stainless steel Movado.

Cool to see. This watch was previously made in the city where I live👍
I use translator most of the time.

There was a link to the old Spyderco catalogs.

This came in the mail today. I wanted something slimmer than the pro trek for work. It was only $15 shipped.

for a few more dollars, you can get a bond watch instead of a bin laden watch.

I love mechanical watches.
Have some vintage Omega watches.
Unfortunately, new models are overpriced!

Uh... I hate to be a party pooper, but the OP, zhtckr,
has only made one post on this entire forum, ever.
And that was Jan 1 to open this thread.

May I recommend the Knife & Watch thread
with more than 400 posts and 54,000 views started January 2016
by spyderwolf who has contributed 627 posts on this forum.

I like pictures of watches as much as the next guy, but
worst case scenario, we are being trolled.
Best case scenario, this thread is redundant.

But so it's not a total waste,
I'm reminded of a Johnny Carson watch joke.

Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart was disgraced when two...
working girls said that though Swaggart never touched them
he liked to look at them cavorting on the bed naked.

Carson was inspired to quip
"What's the difference between Jimmy Swaggart and a pickpocket."

"A pickpocket likes to snatch watches."

(Does this put me on the naughty list, again?)

Picked one of these up today. Much nicer than the F91. Wish I could figure out how to mute it though.

Nice being able to walk into a non-specialty store and get a cool watch for under $20. This hobby is a lot cheaper than knives........for now :D
