Is that Casio a relatively new watch? I'm just starting to look at watches now....hahahahahaha.

Wish me luck! :winking-tongue

It's an older Casio that's only $15-20. Forgot my gshock one day so I picked one up on my way into work and I grew to really like the design. So I sold a backup of that gshock and got a bunch of color variations. The stopwatch is a lot easier to use, which is nice for my runs etc. w218-h is the model. https://www.casio.com/products/watches/ ... /w218h-1av

It's really stylish and fits right in with 2022! I'd wear it.

I thought Marathons were expensive, wow the Casios!!! Some are $8k! :flushed

I have to be careful, these would def cut into what I spend on Prepping and Knives. I'll find something and save for it.

- sapphire crystal
- compass
- make me look like James Bond :tonque-out

https://www.casio-europe.com/euro/produ ... g-330-1er/

I managed to score that prg330 for $80 from the casio outlet..... might not look like bond or have a sapphire crystal but it has a compass, altimeter etc.

might be worth keeping tabs on the casio outlet. https://outlet.casio.com/

Another cheap compass watch is the Suunto Core.

I have recently discovered a provider of stunning leather watch straps which have totally transformed my enjoyment of a couple of old watches. I bought a Crazy Cow vintage looking strap for an aviator watch and also a black Cordovan strap for a retro Longines. I think both look great.

Fin watch straps have a fantastic collection and I’d highly recommend. Also very friendly interaction with them via email.

I used to collect watches and have a pretty decent rotation. But since I turned to an Apple Watch, it's all I ever wear. Its just too functional not to wear daily. Seriously. Its a watch phone and mini computer. I sold most of my watch collection and bought firearms. They will never be obsolete.

this series of watches killed watches as a hobby for me. More practical and comfortable than anything else I've tried and only $15. Can't bring myself to drop $200-600 on a nice field watch that has less features now.
