Wow Paul! Looks like the blue bloods are clotting up :p

When you're down it seems everyone piles on...

Bill Walton had a message to future Kentucky recruits during last night’s Utah-Cal game on ESPN.

Following his colleague Dave Pasch’s recollection of the two broadcasters calling the Kentucky-Utah game out in Las Vegas together last season, Walton took the liberty of telling potential Wildcats to consider the schools of the Pac-12 instead.

“With Kentucky up against it now with their fans turning on them because they were expressing their opinions,” Walton said, “I just want the players who are considering going to Kentucky (to know) that we’ll welcome you out here in the conference of champions.”

Never cared much of "Mr. Bill" anyway but it was nice to hear he's stopped making barking noises for a moment :p

Larry, I don't know how you feel about this, but I wish the NCAA would remove the 1 and done rule.
If a player is of 18 years old, and wants to turn pro, then so be it.
Imo, this 1 and done is ruining college basketball.

I am not a huge basketball fan. I use to watch in when I was a kid and Wilt the Stilt was playing. But, pro basketball has ruined my liking for the game. It is full of criminals, anti-American gangsters, and thugs. No thanks.

Even when I was in junior high school back in the 60's they passed guys who were just intelligent enough to tie their shoes (maybe) because they were tall and could play basketball (some you have heard of).

College sports are great and I will watch a college basketball game every now and then, but thanks to the pros I no longer love it.

100% agree! Coach Cal is always the face of the 1 and done topic, he is also a proponent of the 2 year minimum. I get that some of these kids can get a payday that brings their family out of poverty or sets them up for the rest of their life, but from what I've seen a couple more years of maturity and right direction would greatly benefit all parties involved.

Why is it a rule for one college sport and not for another? I hear a lot of talk about how down and out some of these kids are, but they got thousands of dollars worth of tatoo's, gold chains and diamonds earings, $300 headphones etc.

Kentucky is awful right now and can't seem to get out of it's own way, #1 recruiting class and we'd not have a single win if it weren't for 5th year seniors and transfers. We are 5 and 10 right now! We lost 95% of our offense from last year to the draft.

It would have to be a complete transformation to actually see change in NCAA sports, simply because there is so much MONEY that schools, media, and corporations like NIKE and Addidas, have their hands deep inside. :(

Totally dumbfounded at how awful the cats are! I've seen high-school games more polished and those girls would have won state if Covid didn't put a stop to it😳

My Heels couldn't hit a bull in the arse tonight.
That being said, we just got bounced in the 1st round.

That was definitely an encouraging performance from the home team. If they can keep shooting lights out like that, they can make a pretty deep run! Great shooting and that zone defense is tough to beat. I didn't follow college basketball as closely as usual, in general this year...but tournament time is a different story! As always, a few big upsets already!
