Here's a couple pics of the inside of our camper
Nothing real fancy, but comfy nonetheless.

Re: Camping Craze
Hi gang!
Just wanted to touch base. We went on our first ever camping trip the week BEFORE last ( sorry ), down to The Ridge in Sevierville, TN ( actually it was super close to Pigeon Forge ) We were very close to DollyWood. At any rate, we had a really good time. Pigeon Forge is a good easy drive for us and served us very well for our first outing.
And, Rick, I can see exactly what ya meant by the weekend getaways- it can be a lot of work. We actually had Friday, Saturday & checked out Sunday. It would be nicer to have a full week and we will have at least 3 trips that will last a full week I think.
One thing that I really liked though, was getting a Silverado 2500 HD. I absolutely LOVED my Silverado 1500, but I cannot tell yall what a difference it's been in towing compared to this 2500 HD brute lol!
Those 2500 Series trucks really are made for stuff like that. Anyways, just wandering if anyone else has started yet. Here's a pic.

Re: Camping Craze
We’re planning on starting soon. Wife wants a trailer BAD. We are currently looking at something between 25-28 feet, been looking at different places the last couple Saturday’s. I don’t want something to big. Kind of curious to see the difference in pulling it between the wife’s truck(Ram 1500) and my F250. Hehe.

Which I think is about 28' but, when towing, just figure 33'
Josh, I really like it too. The size is just right imo.
Keep me posted man!
Btw, this is my wife's deal all the way lol.....I hear ya :D
Btw, you'll be very impressed with your 2500, it has enough azz on it, won't be shoved around :D
Re: Camping Craze

In a way I wish I could've afforded the Duramax Diesel
But, I am super happy with this new 6.6 liter gasser
Re: Camping Craze
I’m actually on the market for a travel trailer. Just bought 11 acres of woods in upstate NY and I’d love to drop one on the property.

Re: Camping Craze
Congratulations on the the little farm!
There's s a lot of good options out there T.J.
Good luck on the hunt and keep us posted
Re: Camping Craze
Thank you! I’m open to recommendations on brands. It’s going to be a destination trailer, so towing it is not a concern. I’ve been looking at Keystone and Cedarcreek.
Re: Camping Craze
I actually live in Central NY and had a Keystone camper myself for 3 years. We had a 2017 Keystone Outback 250URS, was a great camper!! Where abouts in NY are you camping?T.J. wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 7:34 pmThank you! I’m open to recommendations on brands. It’s going to be a destination trailer, so towing it is not a concern. We went with Jayco. Namely, the Jayfeather 27BHBT.J. wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 7:34 pmThank you! I’m open to recommendations on brands. It’s going to be a destination trailer, so towing it is not a concern. I’ve been looking at Keystone and Cedarcreek.
I think there about all made in Indiana now.
But, we are really happy with Jayco thus far.
A lot of options out there for sure. Seems like I see a lot of Jayco and Keystone models. Our neighbor at The Ridge had a real nice Montana 5th Wheel by Keystone.

Morris, pretty close to Oneonta. Thanks for the feedback on the Keystone!TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 7:56 pmI actually live in Central NY and had a Keystone camper myself for 3 years.
