This is a sad day.. I am so sorry to hear. My thoughts go to his family and friends.

I never got into the James Bond movies, but as a kid one of my favorite movies was The Rock with Connery and Nicholas Cage...I always thought, man this older guy is one bad dude! Loved that movie, sorry to hear of his passing.

Sean Connery was always my ultimate favorite of all the actors that played the role of "James Bond". I still say "Diamonds Are Forever" was my all time favorite of his movies. But he was good in quite a few of them.

Well it's hard to gripe about a 90 year lifespan but I still wish his friends and family the best.

Everybody is gonna make bond references and that is certainly what he is most known for.

He also starred in Darby O’Gill and the Little People which I watched a bunch as a kid because it had my name in it. :)

I was also a huge Highlander fan as a kid. There can be only one! :D

RIP Sean Connery. :(

A friend of mine dragged me to see Dr No back in 1962. I'd never heard of James Bond at the time. I saw all of Connery's Bond movies and I think The Rock was by far his best Bond movie. :D

I think we'd still be seeing Indiana Jones movies if Connery had played Indy's father like John Mason instead of a stereotypical academic loon.

The Hunt for Red October is one of my favorites, too! And I also loved the Highlander when I was younger.

Hahahaha! It's an inside joke among me and my friends to imitate Sean Connery's Scottish accent with emphasis on "esh's" everytime we see or hear a movie reference starring him. Such a unique voice in cinema.

While I still think he was the quintessential James Bond (followed by Daniel Craig), he has a lot of iconic roles over the years but this one still makes it as one of his best roles ever. :)
