Well I didn't even think Eric was a member here, but it looks like I'm wrong. :D He hasn't been active for the past few years but today is his birthday.
I wish we heard more from him, but I understand that he's probably extremely busy with the company. He has certainly inherited his father's skill and proclivity for creating innovative knife designs and I'm confident that the future of Spyderco will remain in very capable hands.

I could be wrong but I thought that according to Sal, Eric runs Spyderco. This dynamic duo are running one of the top knife companies worldwide. The only complaint that I have is that I don't own 300% more of Spyderco knives and that I have not yet met Sal or Eric!

Oh heck YES!!!! The father of the Dodo model deserves a very Happy Birthday today. I've always liked Eric's designs and I've enjoyed chatting with him at a couple of knife shows. It's guys like this that make Spyderco knives among the very best. Happy Birthday ERIC!!! :cool:
