Wow that’s awesome. When Halley’s Comet came around decades ago you had to use a telescope, and even then it just looked like a star that moved. You even captured the tail!

Thanks.. My Nikon D80 and 70-300 VR lens may be old, but they still can get the job done!

That is a great shot! Rare to see something like that, so it's cool you were able to capture this image! How long were you able to see it, with its tail?

not very long, say 15 minutes, then it dipped below the ridgeline
