John Prime to be really popular going back to the late 70s. I loved his song "Dear Abby". Toward the end of his career you pretty much just heard him on underground stations. I'm sure he ranks as one of the greatest American Folk Singers of all time.

Aww, that sucks! I always liked, "In spite of ourselves".

Maybe he now has that perpetual illegal smile. RIP John

R.I.P. John -- you shaped so much through your musical life, indelibly leaving your footprint on folk and life itself forever.

I honestly never heard his music before, but when I saw this I instantly remembered an old Everclear song and album I used to like as an early teen in the mid 90's. Had to look it up, still a good tune.

I was lucky enough to see John Prine play live just a few months ago with Kelsey Waldon, the first person he'd signed to Oh Boy Records in something like 40 years.

The throat surgery sure did take his voice, but not his spirit. It was an excellent show.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.
