Wow^^^
Thanks to yourself and cabfrank. I live alone, dont cook much but had some buddies over last
night. Over cooked the shrimp a tad. The lobster though, came out perfect.

Red (my dad's name, luv ya man!), keep cooking like that and you will have more friends than you know what to do with.
Spydergirl, looks delicious, hard to beat a great burger.
I would love to grill some dinner right now, but am in between two very close Northern CA fires. There are ashes and embers falling in the yard right now, so I am watering instead.

Had a huge storm blow through and ruin my bbq idea...

Ended up having leftover meatballs. v.v

Edit: Hah! Frank's surrounded by fire, wishing for rain. I'm surrounded by rain, wishing for fire.

Good luck, man.

Tomatoes roasted for freezing. Skins peeled off. Cooling to be bagged. These are out of the garden and make a great base for chili come January and February

These are more cold pack pickles. The cucumbers are too much to handle honestly and we give a good number of them away.

And there is another loaf of zucchini bread baking too. She put chocolate chips in this one.....

The counter puppy is a great little slicer for many of the required tasks. I'm grateful for our garden and my wife.

I’m not sure if shepherd’s pie is a thing in the USA, so -

It is. Well, kinda.

Reminded me of a funny story from when I was a banquet chef...

I doubt it would go over well on here. Kristi might be upset.

Yeah, comfort food like that seems to be universal, just with different names sometimes.

Most bakeries here will have small ones available hot for peoples lunches.

Ha, now you’ve got me curious! Well, since you brought it up, feel free to PM me if you want to share the tale. :)

I'll give it some thought, It's pretty hardcore. I'll have to write it out, omit some info and I might be able to share it with you.

I will say this, the culinary industry was(is) full of some crazy people.

You might sleep better, not knowing. ;)
