What's Cookin'?

A couple of days ago, 5 hours' lamb shoulder with onions and mushrooms with rosé and an aromatic broth, all in the same pot. Meat literally melting from the bone and savoury as heck !
Today : chicken thighs with an oriental sauce (soy sauce, white miso, lemon, maple syrup, garlic, ginger) and fried rice.
Tomorrow I'll either make some daifuku or some dango.

This was delicious! I think I should've browned the chops a little more, but they came out tender and juicy. My mom loved 'em. :)

Broke down a whole tenderloin and then realized I had forgotten to lay out dinner... Improv time!

I sliced the tenderloin scraps up and turned them into Crispy Spicy Beef. It was great, if not a tad vinegary.

This morning, I was feeling creative, while making breakfast for my wife.

I had an uncooked pork chop from the night before, so I ground it up and made some breakfast sausage. Cooked it, scrambled some eggs and made gravy to go on top. With a few orange slices, it was plated and good to go.

I sat the plate up on the bar, went to grab my phone for a picture. I was gone for MAYBE 3 minutes(the phone was right in plain sight, of course) and I come back to this...

Tonight, we had homemade Chicken Parmigiana. It didn't last long enough on the plates to get a picture, but I did snap a one as I was pulling it out of the oven.

The old grill's last ride. Getting a new grill tmrw. Chicken thighs that were marinated 8hrs with brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, turmeric, garlic, onion, black pepper, salt

That sounds like a good marinade. I had chicken thighs last night, and will probably try it next time. Enjoy the new grill!
