Next Sprint Run? Old School Alloys are BEST!

I'm thinking maybe a Native Chief with mammoth tooth scales and a copper/arsenic alloy blade. Thoughts?

I thought my EDC was retro. Check this out:

There was talk of a bronze Mule at one point.

That would be really interesting! Would it sharpen on the sharpmaker?
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

One Spyderco model I would love to see return in an "Old School Alloy" would be the original, full Spyderedge C-36 Military model in the old 440V ( S60V) blade steel. 440V ( S60V) was such a great blade steel for Spyderedges that they could bring that back and I would embrace it.

Also if they wanted to do a Sprint Run of the C-17 Catcherman model in AUS-8 ( especially full Spyderedge) I would be all over that one too.

What about flint? If it was good enough for our ancestors, it should be good enough for us.

Do they still even make 440v/s60v?
Bronze would definitely sharpen on a sharpmaker

My vote is for a Ed Schempp Aztec obsidian ethnic series folder!

Woah! If anyone could pull that off it might be Ed Schempp.

5,000 years old or so from the Bronze age, was a good find for sure.

Pretty early Bronze age at that too around 3,000 BC or so....

Serious piece of history there.. Was made not too long after the stone age ended.
