Well the Woman who cuts my hair has Covid 19.....

They were closed this morning (had an Appt.), so I contacted her and found out.

Got it from her husband, he was one of those in denial, it doesn't exist types...

She is highly pissed and very sick...
I wonder if he believes it exists now, or if he was asymptomatic and is still in denial...

Jim

I didn't ask her.. ;)

But you know how those types are..... My FB feed is loaded with them....

Idiots all of them and I went to school with most of them, makes me wonder sometimes how they got to be that stupid....

My wife's co-workers entire immediate family is now infected and sick here in Florida. All do to going out to a restaurant once where one worker came to work sick. Now some of the extended family are sick as well. Florida was doing pretty well for a while, then the second wave arrived and now things are getting bad, fast.
While I hate to wear a mask in the heat and humidity, I do anyway. It is a tiny discomfort compared to getting the virus, getting sick, paying the related bills, and the feeling that maybe you passed it on to anyone else, let alone an at risk person.

Still the 1st wave...

They just opened back up way too soon and too fast etc. so it's spiking again....

Well they didn't listen to the scientists. ;)

They did exactly what the scientists told them NOT to do.

Reaction to the crony virus has
Forced me to work an extra day a week without increased pay (same weekly hours)
Forced me to work night shift every other week, rather than a straight day shift

I had a three-day fever last Sunday through Tuesday. My doctor ordered a COVID test, which I took late Tuesday and am still waiting for the results of. Meanwhile, my wife and I are stuck at home. Not a bad fate, but inconvenient. She never got symptoms. I’ve been fine since Wednesday morning (today is Monday) except my teeth are sore and thermally sensitive. All my teeth. Very weird.

I hope you feel better soon, Bill, and I’m hoping that you and yours remain healthy.

I hope that you do NOT have it, or that if you do it is a very mild case. This is a terrible virus.

I got my results this morning. Negative for coronavirus, none detected. Lab was hammered with tests so it took a week to get results. Thanks to all for the positive wishes, much appreciated.

Really? I’m glad Vivi came back. He contributed a lot to this forum. Hope to see more from him.
