The Sig X5 double stack 9mm doesn't feel as good in hand as this Bul double stack 14rd 45 auto
It's light too....

I don’t have the X5 only the XCarry and XCompact . When I first got the XCarry , I wasn’t thrilled with the grip . I switched it out to the Graygun module and for me works very well . The X model modules have bare spots that distracted me a bit . The Graygun module corrected the problem for me , just feels more solid . Very impressed with your 45 . MG2

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
In pistols now, I'm just down to owning Glock's and HK's. I've been on a HK kick for several years now, a P30sk and P2000sk both are sharing my daily carry duties, but.....the last gun I'd ever get rid of (which is never) is my Gen3 G23 .40 S&W. It's been a workhorse and just goes and goes, can't say enough good about that pistol!MacLaren wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 9:28 amGlocks are awesome. Oh yeah. Very nice. It's pretty wild at what can be done with a striker fire trigger. They can become really nice.Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 1:42 pmHere is my Glock 21 . I once dry fired a Canick and, I was impressed.
I'm sure that 21 is just as nice and I would rather have Glock over all striker fired guns. (That's just me though)

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
I handled a Canick a friend has he loves it . I would rather save a little more and buy a more established firearm. Just me though not knocking another’s choice.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
The VP9 has a pretty fantastic trigger out of the box. I don't own one but have shot a couple hundred rounds through one. I guess I'm just an old school soul and trying to resist one, I still think HK's are supposed to be hammer guns!

I am a 100% hammer guy. I have nothing against striker fire and own a Glock or 2 but, I just love the hammer and in particular the 1911& 2011 series.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
I had a VP9 , it’s a very fine pistol . My son-in-law has the new updated model and I like the improvements. I’m old school in some respect, I would rather have a hammer style pistol . The P30LS just plain works for me in a lot of areas . As a lefty I want a pistol to be ambi , the only exception is my Glock 21 gen 4 . I will post another hammer pistol later today . MG2

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Gotta say fellas, if yall decide to buy a hammer gun, seriously consider Bul Armory.
I've never felt a 1911 (& my 1st 2011) feel so good in hand and the slide feels like it's on ball bearings lol and so easy to manipulate. The forward cooking serrations are done superbly.
It's just amazing what you get for the price.

I have a P30L V1 Light LEM 9mm, it might be my favorite pistol right now, currently my nightstand pistol with a 20 round magazine full of 124gr. +P Federal HST's.Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 8:26 amI had a VP9 , it’s a very fine pistol . Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Thank you sir! I will say that P30L takes a back seat to my Mossberg 590 12 gauge shotgun for nightstand / HD duties. And although not $300....my Dad used to always say a $300 shotgun beats a $3000 handgun everyday of the week! Lots of wisdom in that simple sentence!Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 9:50 amYou have very good taste ! I will post my nightstand rig later today .
