I'll start it off....
Glock 17 Gen 5 - just came in today.
Feels fantastic in hand, best outta the box trigger that I've felt on a Glock. I really like it so far....

It's been a long time, but the last firearm I bought was an old 1960's era Ruger MK 1 .22 caliber semiautomatic pistol.

Nice Glock! I have a Glock 22, of the generation before they enlarged the magazine release and put in double recoil springs. (3rd?) Love that gun. I've put through hundreds of rounds without a single problem yet.

Thank you :)
They really are great pistols.

Very nice. Always wanted to try an HK.
When I was in law enforcement, I always used Sig and my 1st cousin HK. We were both very loyal to our brands at the time, lol

Thanks, your G17 is quite nice as well. I've always been partial to hammer fired versus striker, but one of my sons is going into law enforcement so I'm sure to be inundated with all things Glock soon enough.

Around Christmas I bought the Browning (US Repeating Arms) version of the Winchester 52 Sporter reproduction produced in the early '90s. I've wanted one since I first the several we received in our gun shop 30 years ago. Finally decided to go ahead and buy one. It's seen some use and has a few dings on the stock but it's really nice condition otherwise and the price was right considering what they're bringing nowadays. I was designing a single shot adapter for the Winchester 22 rifles and wanted another version of the 52 to test prototypes with.

Before that the last firearm I purchased was a CZ 452 American that I bought new in 2010. I also won a Springfield Armory XDS 4" about 4 years ago but that doesn't really count since I didn't actually buy it.

CZ 527 American .222 Rem.

Leica ERi 2.5-10×42 Riflescope

Sako Optilock Mount Rings.

I wanted the same rifle in .221 Fireball but they don’t export them to Oz. :(

I haven’t bought any new guns in a while, but Uncle Sam might be getting me a new AR this year... :)

Nice Alex! Love a good triple duece! I have a Remington 700 ADL in 222 Rem that was produced in the late 60's. It's quite a shooter with my handloads. Honestly haven't shot it for years though.

Some of my friends from the shooting community are trying to get me to make a single shot adapter for the 527. Keep telling them I'd have to buy another rifle and there's no more room in my safe and no room for a bigger safe.

The 870 is by far my favorite shotgun platform. I've had this Marine Magnum for about 10 years, but the Mesa Urbino stock showed up in the mail today.

Wow, this thread made me realize it's been seven months since my last gun purchase. :o At any rate here it is, a 24" barrelled CZ 457 AT-Ready in .22LR, that has since been fitted with a CVLife bipod, Leupold 3X9 scope, and Q Erector suppressor. Scope mounts have since been swapped out for lower ones, and bipod replaced by a Caldewell. Fun little combo, especially when shooting CCI Quiet ammo.

I really like it Pat. It’s short, light, great trigger that I’ve tuned and lighten and it very, very accurate.

I was loading a full case of Trail Boss powder behind a 55gr Nosler Shots for something around .22 Magnum velocity which has been dynamite on foxes I whistle without smashing them up like a full charge. And a bit like you I haven’t shot it since before I joined the Forum.

I have a stainless Remington 700 in .220 Swift too but it’s a fickle thing with muzzle blast to wake the dead.

A single shot adapter would be a walk in the park for a man of your calibre. ;) :)
