Wow this thing is awesome. Bone white micarta with brass hardware and red liners. The box included 2 sheaths... Is this normal for the ultralight bushcrafter? One is a belt sheath the other is a magnetic neck sheath. Tested this guy out and it shaves fatwood great, batoned through a small dry limb, did some whittling. It's really fun. Here's some pics:

I also have the Bark River Machete in CPM-1v and a MACV-SOG Recondo Bowie in CPM-154. I have had numerous Bark Rivers over the years dating back to 2003. When they release another run of the MACV-SOG Bowies I plan to pick up one or two more to squirrel away.

I missed out on the Bark River Machete in CPM-1v. I wish they would make another run of those.

I have a Bark River MACV-SOG Bowie and would also like another.

I think the next run of MACV-SOG bowies are dropping next week if I read it right on Facebook. I might also try to get another BR Machete depending how well the mods go on the one I have now. The Bravo knife handle on that machete just doesn't work for me. I have big hands so when using the machete my hand starts to cramp with in a minute or two. I plan to pull the micarta scales off then reshape the tang and choil so I can put a longer and taller handle on it that is contoured like I want it. I also plan to reshape the tip some without sacrificing noticeable weight in the blade. The longer handle will give the machete more power and control depending on grip.

My 2nd choice will be Antique Bone Linen Micarta with Red Spacers. ( hidden tang will not have liners- my bad)
