We had two Bichons but one passed away. I walk the male 2x a day here in the Winter, 3x to 4x a day during the Summer. Our dogs get a lot of exercise through walks and playing in the yard. We may be getting a new puppy for 2020!

We are a solid dog family. Always have dogs here.

A couple of lab/hound mix (rescues, so that's all we know) "puppies." They're a year and a half old. Wouldn't guess it looking at them, but they're litter mates.

Had a rescue Pekingese that was my constant companion for the last 8 years. He passed in September and a month later I was adopted by this 9 year old Mini Schnauzer named Romeo. :)

We have a rescue as well. This is Tony "bubby" We believe he's a Pug/Jack Russell mix, which makes sense because he has the combination of crazy energy, but also loves to cuddle and relax. I love this dog more than most people! :D

One of his favorite things to do, go kayaking with his daddy when we go camping
Resized_20160604_161835_4393091980144.jpeg
Kill his sisters babies because he thinks every stuffed animal in the house belongs to him
Resized_IMG_20161128_193201_1480379569744_4452448809548.jpeg
Loves to be outside and get a tan in the summer

Likes to be the last one out of bed

This was actually just last night right when I got home from work, my wife sneakily took this one and said she should crop it and make it a Christmas card haha! Me petting his chest telling him he's a good boy and whatever other jibberish comes out of my mouth :)

I have 2 Bernese Mountain dogs, my ex-wife raises them and these 2 are her retired girls. Amazing dogs, smart, loving, hilariously goofy, great with kids and other animals...my two's best friend is my cat.

I've had many dogs in my life, Rottweilers, German Shepards, Mastifs and these girls are my favorites.

My user name is actually my first dog’s nickname. I currently have a rescue Doberman named Vera. I am definitely a dog person.

This is Harley, she is a rescue so her breeds are a bit of a guess. She was rescued along with her mom who is mostly Mastiff/Boxer... I suspect Dad was at least partly Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Two border collies here. Chili, the older of the two, loves to herd the 18" inflatable ball around the yard. She brings it, we kick it out there, and she rounds it up and brings it back. She rarely tires. The game goes on infinitum. Brandy, the younger, is wild about smaller toys. One game is "Use Your Nose." I throw the tennis ball as far as I can way up onto hill, which his covered in bushes and flowers. She has no idea where the ball is. She rockets up there and sniffs it out. Sometimes it will take seconds, sometimes 5 minutes or more. But she never gives up.

Both have herded sheep in a recreational capacity with my wife. They have the herder instinct. In this picture, they've decided that I need some chickens, so they're bringing them to me.

Calvin is the blonde doodle, my gf’s dog. He’s a wonderful dope. Great energy, lots of fun, but not very bright.
Brown and round is my parent’s dog. He’s getting a bit gray nowadays.
Oscar is my rescue “cattlehuahua” in the middle. Such a loving and loyal dog. Likes to prove how tough he is too.

:(My wife and I love dogs but I’ve not had one in a good while. She suddenly developed an allergy to them. :(

I have written some accounts of my adventures with my dogs.

Follow the Christ, the King,
Live pure, speak true, right wrong, follow the King--
Else, wherefore born?" (Tennyson)

Love dogs but after putting our GSD Max down we haven’t gotten another. He was 13 years old. Still miss him bumping me. Was a great family member. He’s got a nice resting place in our front yard.

Owned a number of Lab's that I hunted with till I retired. They were the best. For the past 12 years we have had a little 35 lb's of muscle, that we think is mostly terrier. He was a rescue...he rescued us.
