Chip is a little cutie all sprawled out haha.

Very sorry to hear about your Golden. My parents already had one when I was born, and we then had 2 more Golden's throughout my life. The one I grew up with "Goldie" lived to be 12 years old and had her from when I was 10-22 years old. I never experienced a hurt and broken heart like that ever in my life before, or since. I had to call into work for 2 days after we had to put her down, I was an absolute mess :(

Truly amazing and beautiful dogs. I'm sure you know you were very lucky to have yours as long as you did, and can only imagine all the wonderful memories :)

My wife is home and I had her take these pics of this mug she surprised me with of our current dog we rescued together 6 years ago, and my precious Goldie Girl with angel wings. It actually made me cry when she gave it to me, meant so much to me...considering she wasn't even in my life when Goldie was around, she just knows she meant the world to me.

Thanks for your sympathies, spoken as a true Golden lover!
We jokingly referred to Cypress (our Golden) as "The Doggie Lama" as he was so serene.

Since there’s no other dogs in the house he eats when he wants. Sometimes it’s immediately, sometimes not until the next day. I either fill the bowl or top it off so it’s full when I leave every morning.

Great routine for people who go to work every day. He's a handsome lad and surely gets all the love he deserves. Since I'm on disability I used to feed mine 3 times a day but the vet recommended to only feed them once a day. They get a good workout early in the morning with lots of pedigree cookies for breakfast followed by long naps, and then get fed proper in the afternoon, followed by more naps and another workout late at night when things cool off.

He has no fur as he is a 15 year old hairless rat terrier breed. He is my 18 lb bundle of joy.
