Already posted this one, but I redid the acid wash, added a sharpening choil, final edge and my logo so I thought I should show the final product.

Finished. I’ll say this one comes with a secret swedge because most people don’t seem to notice that it’s even there. Next time I’ll leave a gap between the swedge and the main bevel. I grinded this completely freehand which I’m feeling proud of. The blade is the last of the CPM154 I had, heat treated myself. I textured the spine and the outsides of the handle along with a bit of contouring. The end result is a really comfortable knife that still provides grip because of the ergos and the peel-ply G10. I didn’t get around to making a sheath today, so that’ll have to be at a later time. Thanks for looking.

Wow. That's one sexy knife. I love it. I think it's perfect for a small EDC fixed blade. Really well done, hopefully be contacting you soon. It's just a bit tight with the Covid-19 scare right now. I've been laid off at work so it makes things hard. Really though, great job.

That makers mark is awesome.

I’m so sorry to hear about your work. I know we as a society we will get through this but it’s very sad to hear how so many are being affected. Hang in there man. My thoughts are with you.

Ok here is my latest. A friction folder with a twist. I added a index finger hole which also keeps the blade open while your index finger is inside it. So that’s three points of contact all helping to keep the blade open. Your thumb, your index finger and your middle finger pushing on the back of the ring.

Please let me know what you think and thanks for looking!

Interesting. I am reminded of a cigar snip, or set of loppers too! Is there a stop pin, or do the fingers all provide that function? How does it work in use?

Here is my first liner lock that I finished last night.

The blade is CPM154, runs on PB washers, ceramic detent ball, titanium liners, g10 scales. It’s a front flipper which is kind of funny because I’ve never owned a front flipper but I’ve always wanted one.

The lock up is pretty late and the lock stick is strong. I’m going to make a Carbidizer to help combat that that will double as a titanium anodizer.

I’m going to make another one with a bunch of tweaks so I’ll be sure to post that when it is done.

This was a pretty big deal for me as I’ve been wanting to make a folder since I started making knives a little over a year ago. My wife reminded me that I drew this up on paper 11 days ago and now it is in my hand as a functional knife. I’m proud of that. Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions.

Completed my second liner lock yesterday.

-CPM 20CV steel
-Custom detent ball. (I drilled the detent hole too large so I had to replace the ceramic one with a steel ball bearing that I made)
-Titanium liners
-Peel ply g10 scales
-Backspacer
-Front flipper
-Phosphor bronze washers
-Lynch pocket clip (I didn’t have the right thickness of titanium to make my own, but I will on the next one)

I consider this to be my V2 with plans to try and get the design nailed down on V3.

Better and better! How's the lockup on this one? I know you had some lockstick issues on your first.

Again, just very well-done man.
