Wife and pot holes

Since I got injured and my shoulder is painful I have noticed my wife has a penchant for hitting potholes and bumps. I sometimes wonder if she does this with a secret fiendish glee. She swears she is trying to miss them but I’ve noticed that when she swerves to “miss” them she hits them dead center. Perhaps I’m paranoid because of the pain, or maybe I’m imagining things. However, she does seem to have a real talent for hitting them when I’m in the car. Ouch!

I think it is very likely the difference in perception between driver and passenger. It's kind of like when someone drives a manual, thinking they are buttery smooth, but the passenger's head is yanking back and forth.
