Clemson looks to me like the favorite this year.
That Lawrence kid, at QB is the real deal.
Gonna be a good year for College Football imo. Some really strong teams out there this year...
Clemson, Alabama, Georgia,LSU,Texas,Ohio State
Michigan, imo, is highly overrated.

Texas played well. LSU, just played outstanding from what I saw.
LSU may beat Alabama this year though....

That was a fun game to watch last night, missed opportunities at the goal line in the first half really hurt.

Around here us Syracuse fans have been excited to be ranked for the first time since the 90's when McNabb was our quarterback. Then, we go and get BLOWN OUT by Maryland 63-20 :o

Dont feel too bad. I believe the Terps to be a real darkhorse.
They have many good athletes.
They cam an ace of beating Ohio State last year.
They have an incredible offensive attack imo.

The city of Syracuse and surrounding areas are going wild for Clemson coming to town!! We could get annihilated...or beat them like we did 2 seasons ago and hung tight only losing by 4 last season. I'm not sure what to expect!!

It's a crap shoot tonight.
Any other team, I would say Clemson would annihilate them.
But, for whatever reason, it seems The Cuse is Clemsons Kryptonite. However, that QB Clemson has is the real deal.
That being said, I would give Clemson a slight edge.
Gonna be a great game imo...

Tell ya what gang.....The Ohio State Buckeyes look good!!
Very sharp on both sides of the ball this season.
The Buckeyes have soundly defeated all opponents thus far.

The hairless nuts from Ohio have also played nobody this season. They have a weak schedule too. Next week we'll see if UGA or Notre Dame is for real.

Your saying that after Georgia has played Vandy, Murray St and Arkansas St. Lol!
Notre Dame is ALWAYS over ranked. So no big deal if Georgia wins that one too.
But, down the stretch UGA does have a tough schedule.
But, Ohio State does look pretty good.

That's exactly my point. I didn't say Georgia had played anyone, and that I'm waiting until next weekend to see what happens. I think Auburn, TAMU, and hopefully a match up with the SEC West winner in Atlanta are going to be better teams than anyone left on tOSU's schedule. Actually, ND has been pretty good in recent years. Even if they're over-ranked, they're better than anyone UGA or tOSU has played this far in the season.

Welp, that was a nice flop on national television! I didn't think they would win, but certainly expected more fight than that! Offensive line was severely overmatched, defense was gassed by the end of the game.

Well, I think Clemsons QB is just phenomenal.
What he did to Alabama as a freshman was just amazing.
It wouldnt suprise me in the least to see them repeat this year.

Good point. I understand.
This could be the year that Georgia wins the SEC.
I've been thinking it could very well be UGA vs Clemson for the National Title.
I realize it's far too early to really predict anything, but Georgia is Georgia and, they will more likely than not be in the Final Four.
They have a great coach in Kirby Smart and Fromm is a Senior, correct?

Fromm is a Junior - he started as a Freshman when Jacob Eason was injured up in South Bend two years ago, and he's never let go of the starting job. I think Georgia has to win SEC CG to get into the 4 team playoff. The loser of Bama - LSU could very well sit out the SEC CG and get in this year, just like Bama did two years ago. With the four team playoff, having to play in the SEC CG has almost become a disadvantage.

Yes, Georgia is Georgia. The same Georgia that's blown big second half leads to Bama for the past two years, and had other numerous heart breaking losses in seasons past. Kirby, yes I agree that he's a great coach. Maybe he'll be the one to get us over the curse Erk unintentionally put on us - https://bleacherreport.com/articles/108 ... cial-curse.

Lol, yes- I remember those games!
As for the playoff, I think your right.......I forgot how good LSU is this year. Of course, it's still very early, and LSU could blow up. Who knows? If LSU does blow up, then I feel the pressure is really off Georgia not having to win the SEC CG. Provided the play Bama very close in the CG. But, heck I think it just so possible that UGA can beat Alabama this year. The hard part is gonna be beating Clemson and their QB for the Natty
