Clemson looks to me like the favorite this year.
That Lawrence kid, at QB is the real deal.
Gonna be a good year for College Football imo. Some really strong teams out there this year...
Clemson, Alabama, Georgia,LSU,Texas,Ohio State
Michigan, imo, is highly overrated.
Agree with you on Clemson and their QB. Also a huge fan of Dabo, my favorite college coach. Our Gators are way overrated, should be around 20 for now. Hope they prove me wrong.

I think your backup QB looks better than Felipe Franks. I think we'll also see how badly overrated Michigan is when they travel to Wisconsin this weekend. That CBS double header of AU @ TAMU followed by ND @ UGA is going to make for a great early season Saturday.

Yup. 2 things gonna happen Saturday
1. Michigan will get exposed
2. UGA will kick Notre Dame's arse.
Lol, at least that's what I predict :D

Looking forward to the UGA/Notre Dame game. Should be fun. If Trask can limit interceptions and turnovers, the Gators should be a much improved team offensively. Wish Franks well but he doesn't seem to have the "it" factor. Injuries have historically been a problem for the Gators. Zuniga needs to be healthy, Henderson needs to be healthy, Toney who is a true threat needs to get well. Think we'll get by Tennessee today, time will tell. Gators have a series of tough games coming up. Auburn, LSU, SC, and UGA, unless they improve it may be a long season. We'll still support them, my kids have graduate degrees from UF, and thankfully all doing well.

Well, Michigan is being revealed as the overrated team we thought they were. Trask is looking pretty good for the crocodilians. I'm getting ready for the appetizer at College Station before the Big Dawgs eat.

Dawgs won despite the church cheating. Too close for comfort, but I'll take it.

The Irish gave the Dawgs a scare.

But what is up with TN? They do not play like an SEC team.

Trask showed he was very capable for the Gators, if he (and others) can stay healthy they may end up with a pretty good season. Auburn showed they are a solid team. Tough to get thru the season in the SEC without loss(s) a lot of really good teams. Love college football.

UGA and Notre Dame was a good game. Tackling by ND in the first half was exceptional. Both teams fought hard and showed they are worthy of their rankings. Imo, ND became very predictable which helped UGA. Imo, a pretty well officiated game. Good to see both teams come out, shake hands, and show respect for each other. They knew they had been in a battle.

67-63 seriously? No defense on either side. UCLA vs Washington

Yes. Major props to Notre Dame.
As for UT, they just suck and imo, the fan base brought it all upon themselves with that stunt the pulled a few years ago with Greg Schiano.

I don’t remember the stunt other than people being upset because of the Penn State mess.

Exactly. At one time Schiano had worked under Sandusky.
Please, dont get me wrong, I still to this day detest Joe Paterno and Sandusky, but Schiano really didnt do anything wrong.
It pissed a lot of coaches off around the country not to mention a lot analysts.
At any rate, Tennessee is a mess

Trask looked good for UF, and AU definitely looked solid. The SEC is looking deeper than I thought it would before the season. I think the cocktail party is going to be a huge game this year.

I strongly disagree with the UGA vs ND game being well officiated. They missed the blatant fake injury where the ND player's teammate pushed him down to slow down the Dawgs while they were going up tempo and wearing out ND. They also missed numerous, often blatant, pass interference calls against ND in the second half. I agree that ND's defense played very well in the first half. ND's TE and the big, tall receiver (both of their names escape me) definitely gave my Dawgs quite a bit of trouble. Georgia has tons of room to improve, and I'm glad they escaped with a win.

I thought the ND soccer team played really well. They don't call them the Flopping Irish for nothing, you know.

I was particularly impressed by the defensive line man who had to call the trainers out to wipe his tears away after Jake Fromm's shoulder pads hurt his delicate eyes.

Yeah, no doubt ND faked injuries when UGA were on a roll offensively.
Anyways, gonna be an interesting year.
