Just a slipjoint the kids and I worked on over the weekend. They overground the handle so now they call it a “hump back”.

Man, color me impressed! Making a knife is a big task in itself, but "just throwing it together over the weekend" is over the top. That crowned spine looks fantastic.

Thank you. I already had the parts lying around and heat treated from a few years back.

So the only real work was grinding the blade and handle really. Still took 2 full days

after replacing the battery in Casio (stopwatch too), you need to reboot the module, close two contacts "AC", Victorinox's tweezers are suitable for this )

I've taken to carrying my Victorinox Hiker along in a side pocket with my flashlight. My primary cutting tool remains a large folder (CPM 4V Millie for the past several months) but it's fun to carry a SAK again.

They’re awesome and usually the climber or manager rides in my FRP every day right next to my Dfly salt…always have a large Spydie in my WB too…they’re addictive little guys and now I have to go and look up the Hiker

Just started following Sakology on the gram and he does cool stuff…F2S customs also does phenomenal ones made to order but they ain’t cheap…I think it’s fit to survive on YouTube…Carryology has a good article on customizing SAKS too and it lists a whole bunch of SAK modding companies

I wonder how hard it is to do well?

I don't think that something like this would replace my EDC knife or anything, but it's hard to argue with the utility. I'd love to have it in a go bag.

I have no idea how difficult it might be, scale swaps are a breeze but that’s as far as I’ve gone…oh it definitely wouldn’t replace my EDC but it never ceases to amaze me how many times I use it
