Doesn't matter....daily, occasionally, whenever?? And if you carry, what holster and belt combo do you use??

Today's carry for me was an old 3in GP-100 Ruger and 2 speedloaders full of 158gr HPSWC loads at about 1250fps. Leather Bianchi crossdraw holster on a new cobra buckle nylon belt (belt has a kydex reinforcing strip to keep it rigid and support the holster.). This is a "walking around" rig for here on the farm, basically for snakes, any coyote that comes within 50yds or so, or my plate rack if I get bored enough. It fulfills it's mission quite well.

Since the IS a knife forum I also carried a pair of Enduras...one in each front pocket and a Vic Tinker.

So, what is everybody else carrying today???

Recently (now that I'm carrying multiple knives :cool: )my wife's Interarms PPK/S... using Craft Holsters IWB cordura holster. Loaded with Remington UMC .88-grain JHP ...as reliable as I've used short of FMJ.

Lightweight and very slim setup!

A Glock Model 36, .45 Auto. I use Ruger .45 ACP ARX 114 grain ammo with a muzzle velocity of 1350 fps. My backup is a Spyderco Manix 2 XL with an average thrust velocity (me) of approximately 1 lb. If both weapons fail to produce the desired results I resort to the pair of New Balance Model 666 I'm wearing which boast an average speed capability rating of TBD (hopefully never)! :D

Most of the time I'm lazy and carry my Glock 43, because it disappears. In colder climates when I wear more layers I carry my S&W M&P 2.0C.

Ruger LCR.

To defend myself in less than polite society, I might carry my Glock 26 for capacity, but my Glock 43 and Walter PPS M2 each give me stealthier options.

To defend myself out where the wild things are, I might carry my Glock 20, but my Dan Wesson 15-2, GP100, and S&W 686-4 each give me additional flat-trajectory options.

We don't have any ccw permits in my town. No carry guns for me.

When I go out to dinner I bring my bodyguard. He's a LEO and can carry off duty.

Sig 365 9mm lately. It has a decent grip for a small gun.

At home I keep a 45ACP S&W N frame revolver by the bed. They like us to keep everything locked up so...

I no longer live in a place where I can own a gun. Barbarians.

However, I long ago eschewed my 1911's for a Glock 19.

Anymore now a days, I just grab my model 19-3 S&W .357/.38
2.5" barrel.
And, I never carry per se. If I think I need a gun, I just put it in the truck.

Don't carry when I'm in the house, but one of the benefits of living alone is that I can always have a gun either within reach or close enough that I could retrieve it if anyone tried to break in. Also always have one or more knives close at hand. Right now I have a Beretta 92, a Centofante Memory, a red bone Kiwi, a Dyad, a Stretch 2, a Microtech Combat Troodon, and a cheap Colt double edged dagger within reach. When I'm going out, I carry a S&W J-frame, sometimes two of them, a Jester, a Kiwi, and either a Stretch if I'm staying outside of the city, or one of several "three inch class" Spydercos if I'm headed there.

I was going to say, who the heck are you!?! Hahah

My S&W Shield 40 is on me at all times UNLESS I am at work or at home. At home I have a few other guns that are easily accessible if need be. At work I have whatever pocketknife I have on me, a baseball bat, and a 350 million volt stun gun in my tool bag.

Kahr CW45 is my preferred carry with Wilson Combat compact 1911 mags (flush fit). Aside from this I carry my fullsize 1911 Para USA single stack. Currently looking to pick up a Ruger SP101 in 327 federal.

Depending on the weather and what I'm wearing: Beretta Nano 9mm in a High Noon Mr. Shorty, Beretta Pico .380 in Badger Concealment kydex, or an NAA Sidewinder .22mag in an Alabama Holsters pocket holster. I also have Remora holsters for the Berettas and a kydex holster I bought on Ebay for the Sidewinder.

Always a double thickness leather belt from A&G Custom Gun Leather, unless I'm wearing sweats.

Salt 1 SE and a Tom Krein Cicada, but no gun right now, since I'm at home.

open carry = Sig P320
always a knife = police 4, manix 2, or pacific salt
