Max Fried pitched well and got the win! Not easy to strike out 8 and even harder to do to a playoff team. 5.5 game lead on Philly!
Dodgers have the best record in baseball right now and seem to be hitting on all cylinders even though Seager, Hill and Freese or on the DL. They just plug in the next guy and he steps up....reminds me of the 2017 team that won 55 out of 60 or something like that. Just hope they don't PEAK too soon!

Looks like it could very well be a classic NY vs LA World Series.
But, it could very well be a Milwaukee vs Houston Series too.
Just far too early to tell. How many times have we saw Division leaders fall apart in either August or September.
As long as both teams are healthy, a Yanks/Dodgers World Series certainly would be a great one to watch. I'd have no problem with that, especially if both teams continue to perform this way throughout the 2nd half of the season. They definitely would have earned the opportunity!

Just get the Ray's out of Tampa and if Montreal wants to build a new stadium then fine. But, the Olympic stadium in Montreal sucks and the people of Tampa just will not support the Rays.
Why not maybe give the Carolinas a shot at an MLB team?

Fingers crossed! The ole' Astros of the 80's were fun to watch if only for the pitching. I use to imitate Jose Cruz's crazy batting style...still didn't help :D
Glad I got to watch Nolan Ryan pitch. I can still recall the look on the face of batters after he set them down.
Dodgers/Yanks would be good to see again. East vs. West. So much history, tradition and fandom from both sides and as a Dodgers fan I'd love some of the Yankees fan passion would rub off on the LA crowds.....the good stuff not the battery throwing stuff :D
