Dog Soldiers (2002) trailer

A great UK movie.

Before I saw Dog Soldiers in the early 2000s, my favorite werewolf movies were The Howling (1981) and An American Werewolf in London (1982). IMO, the single best werewolf transformation scene still remains the one in the first Howling movie. But Dog Soldiers is the most fun werewolf movie for me.

The makers of Dog Soldiers did not use CGI werewolves; instead, they used stunt people in werewolf costumes, and wearing stilts as part of the costumes, to give them canine legs, and to make them taller.

I really like The Wolfman (2010) With Benecio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, and Emily Blunt. It harkens back to the original 1940's werewolf/wolfman movies. It had such a great cast the movie couldn't be anything but good.

I really like The Wolfman (2010) With Benecio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, and Emily Blunt. It harkens back to the original 1940's werewolf/wolfman movies. It had such a great cast the movie couldn't be anything but good.

I agree that the 2010 Wolfman was good. The only thing I wished for was for the werewolf to have a canine head. But I do know that it was based on the 1941 original, with the more human, snoutless face/head.

I agree that the 2010 Wolfman was good. The only thing I wished for was for the werewolf to have a canine head. But I do know that it was based on the 1941 original, with the more human, snoutless face/head.

I actually like that the werewolf (were = man) or wolfman still had a human head and attributes. That, to me, is a lot more creepy.

That's cool, Doc. We all have our preferences, which is what gives variety. The 2010 Wolfman is definitely my favorite "snoutless" werewolf movie.

I used to watch horror films allot but my girlfriend can not handle watching them.
But The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal will always be my favorites.
The way Anthony Hopkins brings Dr Lecter to life always give me goosebumps.
For me they are true Masterpieces.
