Chemo Begins

First, I want to say that for years this forum community has been a pleasure and my place to go to discuss things Spyderco and others. You all are my virtual brothers and sisters and frankly life would be impoverished without you. Your past support has been welcome and nourishing. Thank you all.

I’ve been maintaining with my cancer for over a year with simple hormone treatments but now I will be starting chemo next week in Denver. What I have isn’t curable but with work manageable for a time. Now, more work is called for. I’m a fighter and this is another tool in the box.

A good thing is I should be able to visit SFO on one of my trips.

Everyone stay healthy and get your regular check ups.

Michael, attitude is half the battle! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. This hits close to home for me, having lost my beloved uncle (to cancer) last fall and my mom four days ago.
You're doing what my uncle never did, deal with it in time.

Hang in there, Michael, and keep up with the the positives. I know a number of people who kicked various cancers successfully, but don't know your precise circumstances. I do wish you the Very Best.
