When I was doing research on which deep carry clip I wanted to use on my first Para 3 (now a full-blown Para 3 addiction, thanks Sal! ) I saw an item that's a new one on me: color anodized washers or large cap-head allen bolts that you screw on to your knife, either in vacant clip screw holes or stacked on a frame/pivot/clip screw.
Why in the world would you mess up the ergos of your knife to "personalize" it with a very impersonal mass produced piece of hardware??
I must be getting old...
Note: I *do* have titanium torx head screws for my hollow tubing stainless water bottle cages on all my bikes, but that is strictly for corrosion resistance and the (practically) un-strippable torx socket, so I'm no stranger to esoteric add-ons, just not ones that degrade performance!

Re: screwing color anodized washers to your knife, what the....?!?
if you're talking about a certain ebayer from the great white north, then yeah, I know what you're talking about.
Seems really strange, and I don't know of anyone who actually would do this to their knives.
Seems like someone just trying to make a buck, even though the seller probably has good intentions.

I thouit was to:
1. Sell you something
2. Give better purchase when drawing the knife
Yes, 2 is of dubious use but see 1.
