GSM is a terrible company for support. It's one of the first things they rip out of whoever they have absorbed. I'm sure it looks great on their quarterly reports, but it is bad for consumers and employees.

https://www.gsmoutdoors.com/

Still radio silence from SOG. I did not spend a lot and I have protections, but I'm going to wait it out for science, or something.
Filled out the customer service form days ago, still no reply. We can be sure that SOG will be a failed brand soon. Apparently GSM has no employees manning the ship. SOG was never my favorite, but they deserved better than this.

I tried all that as well. The only way is calling but be prepared to be on hold for 1+ hours. When I did finally get to speak with them they told me the item was backordered. So I had them cancel it and I was told it would take up to 21 days to get a refund. So I disputed the charges with my bank. This was a couple weeks ago and still no refund and the status of my order still shows awaiting shipment.

Maybe not a crazy deal, but Bradford Knives just dropped some Magnacut Guardian 3s on their website today.

Really hoping their kitchen knives get the MC treatment soon, and Bradford hinted that they wanted to. Ever since getting some experience with MC I've been thinking this is likely the ultimate chef knife steel. Their style chef knife looks to be exactly the shape I like.

Wouldn't mind that at all. I really like the shape of their Chef's knife.

I almost picked up a Guardian at Blade Show earlier this year. I just had something else targeted that day, and I was in a rush. My plan for next year's show is to handle more of the Bradford models including the Guardian 4 and the Chef's Knife.

The Guardian 4 is fantastic in-hand. Mine is FFG in M390 and is my constant companion when out on my rural property or elsewhere in the boonies. I like the new Sheepsfoot version as well. Heckuva knife in the kitchen, camp or otherwise. I have a lot of fixed blade knives gathering dust since I picked up a G4.

I am excited to get to handle them again at Blade Show. The owner Brad spent a lot of time with me last time. Definitely nice to hear his passion for the company.

I own their chef knife and paring knife in m390, and I love them. I would love to get them in Magnacut. I own one of their paring knives in AEB-L and I definitely prefer the M390.

I've had the Guardian 3 in Magnacut for quite a while (and about eight other steels, too), and it's my favorite production small fixed blade. I own several of the larger ones in 3v, but the 3 is definitely my favorite.

So tempting, but, I don't need another over built folder . . . . but this is a very good price . . . ugh!

Still nothing form SOG/GSM. I bet they laid off their staff just before they setup the online sale. Seems like something GSM would do.

Deadwood Knives has select Civivi and WE Knives on sale, plus and additional 10-% off using code Thanks22 at checkout. Shipping is free. Credit to Slickdeals

If you haven't tried a WE Banter yet I highly recommend checking it out at $75. Pretty sure it's an all time low for the highly rated Snecx colabs as well.

Also CF Bugout for $212 and aluminum Bugout for $197. Free shipping.

Does anyone know if the aluminum scales are clear anodized or left uncoated?
