I actually remember that night well. Ironically I watched the game at the Duke of Gloucester hotel here in Randwick. The local pub we call The DOG about 300 yards from home.

Loosing to the Poms was bad enough. A pub full of drunken gloating Poms was ... excruciating. :eek:

Doesn’t sound so bad!

My wife and daughter came home to find me screaming, my nose 2” from the TV screen ....

Something should be done to stop the All-Blacks from always fielding 17, 18, sometimes 20 players, though.
