Hi!
For those of you who have seen this movie I was wondering if you could help me with something... there's a scene where K, the main character, visits a crime scene and uses a pocket knife to cut open an entrance in the plastic crime scene covering.
The knife is open-back with a very large standoff at the bottom. I thought it looked like the lanyard tube from a pm2 or pm3 but the shot is so quick I couldn't really tell. I was wondering if someone with better eyes immediately ID'ed the knife?
Thanks hehe.
Also, if you haven't seen this movie and have even a slight love for cinema, sci-fi, or philosophy, I implore you to check it out while it's still in theaters :/ It didn't do too well in the box-office and could definitely use some love.
EDIT: These are two of my all-time favorite movies so it would honestly make me geek out SO hard if a Spyderco was featured in them xD. That's why I care, in case you were wondering... which you probably weren't :D
EDIT2: Come to think of it, there are a quite a few knives in this movie

well I don't know about Gosling's knife (I remember the scene though) but I loved the automatic folder that the bad, murdery woman carried
Here's a version of it:

haha hey thanks for the reply/links! and especially for the "making of" video.
I totally agree... the murder lady's knife was awesome! I loved the shot of her deploying it!
I also liked the various scalpels featured in the movie (though my inner knife nerd was criticizing the blade thicknesses.... xD)

I laughed. Terry's come a long way. I think its nice we can have a chuckle in the face of adversity sometimes.Cheddarnut wrote:Heres a link for the model pictured in Blade Runner 1980: http://www.foxcutlery.com/n/en/product/ ... i.htmlReal Blade Runner.jpg
